27th Generation: Sir Henry de Hastings
- Henry was born in 1205 in Fillongley, Warwickshire.
- He married Ada of Huntingdom on June 7, 1237, and they had five children together: Henry, Ida, Hillary, Ada, and Maud.
- Henry fought in France in 1230. He was taken prisoner at the Battle of Sainte on July 22, 1242. He was later exchanged.
- He was called the Lord of Ashill.
- Henry died in August of 1250 (45 years old) in Ashill, Norfolk. He is buried at St. Mary’s Church in Astbury, Cheshire.
27th Generation: Ada of Huntingdon
- Ada was born in an unknown year. She was the daughter of David, Earl of Huntingdon, and Maud, daughter of Hugh, Earl of Chester.
- She married Henry on June 7, 1237, and they had five children together:
- Henry (who we are descended from) (1240-1269)
- Ida (?-1289) Married Sir Hugh Pecche
- Hillary (1235-?)
- Ada
- Maud (1225-1265) Died in Bourne Lincolnshire.
- Ada remarried after Henry’s death. She married Sir Ralph Brereton.
