*14th Generation: John Trippe

• John was born on February 6, 1610, in Horkstow, Northumberland, England.
• He married Mary Paine on April 1639 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. They had six children together: Peleg, Joseph, Mary, Alice, Abiel, and James.
• John arrived in Massachusetts in 1630 as an indentured servant. He was a carpenter and then became a ferry operator. John then served as deputy to the General Court and later a Judge in Portsmouth.
• John died on October 28, 1678, (68 years old) in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

*14th Generation: Mary Paine

• Mary was born in 1611 in Lincolnshire, England.
• She married John on April 1639, in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, and they had six children together:
  • Peleg (who we are descended from) (1642-1714)
  • Joseph (1644-1718)
  • Mary (1646-1716)
  • Alice (1650-1691)
  • Abiel (1653-1684)
  • James (1656-1730) Died in Bristol, Massachusetts.
• Mary died on February 12, 1687, (76 years old) in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
