9th Generation: Jehoiakim Burghardt Sr.

• Jehoiakim was born on July 1, 1752, in Loonenburg Greene, New York.
• He married Sarah White in 1770 in Schoharie, New York. They had seven children together: Conrad, Judith, William, Milberry, Jehoiakim Jr, Phanella, and Fanny.
• Jehoiakim served in the 9th regiment of the Albany County Militia under Col. Peter Van Ness and Major Jacob Ford. His brothers Hennerey and Lambert also served in the same regiment. His brother Milbury served in the fourth regiment under Col James Holmes and Henry Livingston in the Revolutionary War.
• Jehoiakim received a land grant in Ashtabula, Ohio, for his service in the Revolutionary War.
• Jehoiakim died on February 5, 1810 (58 years old).

• Sarah was born in February 1753 in Oyster Bay, New York.
• Her mother was a member of the Wampanog Indian Tribe.
