• Jonas was born on February 20, 1614, in Halifax, England.
• He married Mary Drake in 1635 in Halifax, England, and they had three children together: Samuel, Caleb, and Joseph.
• Jonas and Mary immigrated to the Colonies and arrived before 1637.
• He died on May 12, 1644, (30 years old) in Long Island, New York. He died by drowning trying to ford the Peconic River.

*13th Generation: Mary Drake

• Mary was born on May 19, 1617, in Sowerby, West Yorkshire, England.
• She married Jonas in 1635 in Halifax, and they had three children together (all born in the colonies):
  • Samuel (who we are descended from) (1637-1723)
  • Caleb (1641-1698)
  • Joseph (1645-1730) Born shortly after father died
• Mary died in 1647 (30 years old) in Hempstead, New York.
