27th Generation: Maurice Fitzgerald
- Maurice was born in Windsor Castle in 1105.
- He married an unknown lady and had eight children together: Gerald, Alexander, William, Maurice, Thomas, Robert, Nest, and Thomas.
- Maurice was known as the Lord of Lanstephan. He was a medieval Norman baron and a major figure in the Norman invasion of Ireland. Maurice started as a Welsh Marcher Lord and fought at the Battle of Crug Mawr in Wales in 1136. He held Llansteffan Castle, now in ruins. He also fought at the Siege of Wexford in 1169 as well as the Battle of Dublin.
