19th Generation: Sir Richard Cholmey
- Richard was born in 1460 in Chorley Cheshire, England.
- He married Elizabeth Pennington, and they had one child together, Roger.
- Richard served as Lieutenant of the Tower of London during the reign of Henry VIII.
- He was knighted for his valor in battle against the Scots in 1497 when the Scots assaulted Norham Castle.
- Richard was entrusted with many positions of responsibility for the security of Castles in England. He was responsible for rebuilding the Chapel in the Tower.
- He is descended back to the 12th century Robert de Chelmundelegh, 2nd son of William le Belward.
- Sir Richard died in March of 1522 (62 years old) in London, England. His tomb is in the Tower of London.
19th Generation: Elizabeth Pennington
- Elizabeth was born in England.
- She married Sir Walter Strickand as her first husband.
- She married Richard (2nd husband) and they had one child together:
- Roger (who we are descended from) (1485-1565) (80 years old)
- After Richard died, Elizabeth remarried again a gentleman named Sir William Gascoigne.
- She died in 1546 in London, England.
