- Roger was born in 1485 in Yorkshire, England.
- He married Christine Hurst, and they had two children together, Frances and Elizabeth.
- Sir Roger served in the House of Commons. He served as a chief justice of the King’s Bench. He was not reappointed by Queen Mary, but was imprisoned and fined for signing the Succession instrument that allowed Lady Jane Grey to become Queen for nine days.
- Princess Elizabeth stayed with the family in Highgate in 1555.
- Sir Roger provided the endowment of the free school, Highgate.
- Sir Roger died in June of 1565 (80 years old) in London, England.

- Christine was born in 1507 in Beoley Yorkshire, England.
- She married Sir Roger, and they had two children together:
- Frances (who we are descended from) (1524-1555) (31 years old)
- Elizabeth
- Christine died in 1558 (51 years old) in London, England.
