• Ralph was born in 1170 in Ulcombe Kent, England.
• He married an unknown lady, and they had one child together:
  • Ralph (who we are descended from) (1196-1225) (29 years old)
• Ralph accompanied Richard I to Palestine for the Third Crusade. He distinguished himself at Siege of Acre in 1187.
• Ralph died in 1201 (31 years old) shortly after returning from the crusades. He is buried in Ulcombe Church.
