*14th Generation: Captain Peter Hayes
- Peter was born in 1571 in Great Budsworth, England.
- He married Margaret Howse, and they had one child together, Peter.
- Captain Peter arrived in Virginia before 1636. He was a sea captain. He was hired by the Dutch to sail between the Port of Texel and Greenland. He subsequently sailed to Virginia for the West Indies Company. He acquired land that became his plantation along Jones Creek.
- Peter died in 1641 (70 years old) in Isle of Wight, Virginia.
*14th Generation: Margaret Howse
- Margaret was born in 1571 in London, England.
- She married Peter, and they had one child together:
- Peter (who we are descended from) (1600-1678) (78 years old)
- Margaret died in 1669 (98 years old) in Isle of Wight, Virginia.
