  • Peter was born in 1600 in Great Budsworth, England.
  • He married Anne, and they had one child together, Jacob.
  • Peter attended Queen’s College in Cambridge. He moved to London to attend Law School. His cousin, Sir Thomas Hayes, was Lord Mayor of London.
  • Peter was appointed Envoy with the Royal Commission to the West Indies to settle a dispute between the Earl of Carlise and Lord Montgomery. After the dispute was settled in 1640, he visited his father in the colonies and subsequently stayed when he inherited the plantation after his father died.
  • Peter died in 1678 (78 years old) in Isle of Wight, Virginia.

  • Anne was born in 1620 in Great Budsworth, England.
  • She married Peter, and they had one son together:
    • Jacob John (who we are descended from) (1655-1726) (71 years old)
