18th Generation: Sir Henry Vernon

• Sir Henry was born in 1441 in Haddon Hall, Derbyshire, England.
• He married Anne Talbot, and they had eight children together: Elizabeth, John, Humphrey, Thomas, Margaret, Anne, Richard, and May.
• Sir Henry served as a Knight for Richard III. He switched sides and fought for the Tudors at the Battle of Stoke in 1487.
• He then served as governor and Trustee for Arthur, Prince of Wales, the eldest son of King Henry VII. He also served in Parliament.
• Sir Henry died in 1515 (74 years old) at Tong Castle, Shropshire, England. He is buried in Tong Church.

18th Generation: Anne Talbot

• Anne was born in 1445 in England.
• Her father, John, was a general in the Hundred Years War. He was made Earl of Shrewsbury and Lord High Steward of Ireland. He served as Lord Chancellor of Ireland and Lord High Treasurer of England. He was killed at the Battle of Northampton in 1460 during the War of the Roses.
• Anne married Sir Henry, and they had eight children together:
