- William was born on April 21, 1607, in Semer, Suffolk, England.
- He married Martha Holgrave in 1631 in Salem, Massachusetts. They had one child together, Martha.
- William arrived on the “Arabella” in Massachusetts in 1630 with his parents. He grew up to become a man of influence in the community. He represented Roxbury in the General court. He helped endow Roxbury Free School, the first in the Colonies and the oldest still in existence.
- William died on May 11, 1685, (78 years old) in Roxbury, Massachusetts.

- Martha was born in 1614 in England.
- She married William in 1631 in Salem, Massachusetts. They had one child together:
- Martha (who we are descended from) (1642-1674) (32 years old)
- Martha arrived with her father to Massachusetts before 1631.
- She died on August 25, 1706, (92 years old) in Roxbury, Massachusetts.
