9th Generation: Joseph Glenn
- Joseph was born in 1759 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
- He married Nancy Ann Butler (probably his second marriage) on November 18, 1790, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They had four children together: Ann, Hugh, Polly, and Elizabeth.
- Joseph served in the 6th Company, 9th Battalion of the Lancaster Militia in the Revolutionary War with his father. He moved with his parents and two brothers to Madison County, Kentucky. He settled along Paint Lick Creek.
- In 1808, his, William’s and Hugh’s families moved with the Sappington family to St. Louis County, Missouri.
- Joseph died on January 11, 1812, (53 years old) in St. Louis County, Missouri.
9th Generation: Nancy Ann Butler
- Nancy was born in 1759 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
- She married Joseph (it may have been her second marriage and Butler may have been her married name) on November 18, 1790, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They had four children together:
- Ann (who we are descended from) (1792-1854) (62 years old)
- Hugh (1794-?)
- Polly (1796-?)
- Elizabeth (1798-?)
- Nancy died in an unknown year in Madison County, Kentucky before the rest of her family moved to Missouri.
