- Israel was born in 1701 in Kent, England.
- He married Lydia Ratcliff in 1723 in Montgomery County, Virginia. They had five children together: Thomas, Israel, Sarah, Jacob, and Rebecca.
- Israel was a land agent for the Woods River Company. He negotiated the sale of land to the Drapers that is now the site of Virginia Tech. He owned land in Drapers Meadow that is now along IH 81.
- He died in June of 1752 (51 years old) in Montgomery County, Virginia.

- Lydia was born in 1705 in Montgomery County, Virginia.
- She married Israel in 1723 in Montgomery County. They had five children together:
- Thomas (1724-1808) (84 years old)
- Israel (who we are descended from) (1727-1808) (81 years old)
- Sarah (1730-1801) (71 years old) Died in Kentucky
- Jacob (1731-1796) (65 years old)
- Rebecca (1749-1836) (87 years old)
- Lydia died in 1765 (60 years old) in Montgomery County, Virginia.
