• John was born in 1730 in Acklam Yorkshire, England.
• He married Mary Malinda Malone in 1764 in Botetourt County, Virginia. They had seven children together: Thomas, Rachel, John, Susannah, Deborah, Daniel, and James.
• Capt. John fought in the Revolutionary War in General Morgan’s 11th Virginia Regiment at the Battle of Saratoga. He served in Gabriel Long’s company. He also fought in the Quebec invasion.
• Capt. John died on August 14, 1808, (78 years old) in Greenville, North Carolina.

10th Generation: Mary Malinda Malone

• Mary was born in 1740 in Somerset County, Maryland.
• She married John, and they had seven children together:
