24th Generation: Sir William de Montagu
- William was born in 1271 in Cassington, England.
- He married Elizabeth de Montfort, and they had nine children together: John, William, Simon, Edward, Alice, Katherine, Mary, Elizabeth, and Maud.
- William was the 2nd Baron Montagu. He was a soldier and courtier during the reigns of Edward the I and II. He spent a great part of his life serving in the wars with Scotland, Wales, and the continent.
- William was with Edward I at the siege of Stirling Castle in 1304. He was knighted in 1306. He traveled with the King extensively.
- William was the Governor of Berhamstead Castle and Steward of the King’s Household. He built Castle at Kersington in Oxford.
- William was sent to Gascony to serve as Governor where he died.
- He died on October 18, 1319, (48 years old) and is buried at Christ Church in Dorset.

- Elizabeth was born in 1271 in Beaudesert Castle, Warwickshire.
- Elizabeth is the daughter of Lord Peter de Montfort and Maud de la Mare.
- She married William and they had nine children together:

- Elizabeth (?-?) Became Prioress of Holywell Abbey
- Maud (?-?) Became Abbess of Barking Abbey
- Elizabeth died in 1354 (83 years old) at Kersington, Oxford, England.
