16th Generation: Robert Needham

• Robert was born in 1535 in Shavington, Shropshire, England.
• He married Frances Aston before 1558. They had eight children together: Jane, Robert, Thomas, Mary, Dorothy, Edmond, Elizabeth, and Maud.
• Robert died on December 18, 1603, (68 years old) in Shavington Shropshire, England. He and Frances are buried in the Needham Chapel in the church in Adderley.

16th Generation: Frances Aston

• Frances was born in 1538 in Tixall Staffordshire, England.
• She was the daughter of Sir Edward Aston of Tixall.
• She married Robert before 1558. They had eight children together:
  • Jane (1560-1617)
  • Robert (who we are descended from) (1565-1631)
  • Thomas (1566-1624) Died at Tintern Abbey in Wexford, Ireland
  • Mary (1568-1617) married Sir Robert Vernon
  • Dorothy (1570-1632) married Sir Richard Chetwode
  • Edmond (1575-1677) Died in Lynn, Massachusetts
  • Elizabeth (1578-1616)
  • Maud (1580-1635) Married John Aston, her 1st cousin
• Frances died on August 31, 1601, (63 years old) in Shavington, Shropshire, England.
