• Richard was born in 1596 in Surfleet, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom.
• He immigrated to the Massachusetts before 1638.
• Richard married Susannah Cooke in Essex County, Massachusetts, in 1638. They had seven children together: Jonathan, Eunice, Nathaniel, Lydia, Amos, Benjamin (who we are descended from), and Richard.
• Richard is shown to be living in Salem in 1637. In 1638 he was a member of the church in Newberry, Massachusetts. In 1645 he moved to Salisbury, Massachusetts, where he served as a Selectman in 1650. He moved to Haverhill by 1652.
• Richard died on October 25, 1687, in Haverhill, Massachusetts. He was 89 years old.

*11th Generation: Susannah Cooke

• Susannah was born in 1611 in Swineshead, Lincolnshire, England.
• She married Richard in Massachusetts in 1638. They had seven children together:
  • Jonathan Singletary-Dunham (1639-1709) (70 years old) He married into the Dunham family and added their name to his. He died in New Jersey.
  • Eunice Eaton (1640-1715) (75 years old)
  • Nathaniel (1644-1689) (45 years old)
  • Lydia Ladd (1648 – ?)
  • Amos (1651 – 1724) (73 years old)
  • Benjamin (who we are descended from) (1656-1697) (41 years old)

• Susannah died on April 11, 1682, in Haverhill, Massachusetts. She was 71 years old.
