  • Richard was born in 1596 in Surfleet, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom.

  • Richard married Susannah Cooke in Essex County, Massachusetts, in 1638. They had seven children together: Jonathan, Eunice, Nathaniel, Lydia, Amos, Benjamin (who we are descended from), and Richard.

  • Susannah was born in 1611 in Swineshead, Lincolnshire, England.
  • She married Richard in Massachusetts in 1638. They had seven children together:
    • Jonathan Singletary-Dunham (1639-1709) (70 years old) He married into the Dunham family and added their name to his. He died in New Jersey.
    • Eunice Eaton (1640-1715) (75 years old)
