7th Generation: Jeremiah Williams

• Jeremiah was born in 1798 in Wake County, North Carolina.
• He married Mary Polly Cooley on December 12, 1820, in North Carolina. They had seven children together: William, Nancy, Peninah, Alfred, George, Andrew, and Mary.
• Jeremiah wrote a letter to his brother, Captain Nathaniel Williams, and asks Nathaniel and other brother Thomas to assist him in taking the cattle to market the month he died.
• Jeremiah died on December 27, 1841, (43 years old) in Madison County, Tennessee.

7th Generation: Mary Polly Cooley

• Mary was born in 1799 in North Carolina.
• She married Jeremiah on December 12, 1820, in North Carolina. They had seven children together:
  • William (1821-1891) Died in Madison County, Tennessee
  • Nancy Ann Richards (1823-1880) Born and Died in Tennessee
  • Peninah (Penelope who we are descended from) (1827-1905)
  • Alfred (1830-1883) Died in Montague County, Texas.
  • George Washington (1833-1906) Settled in Montague County, Texas, in 1870. Died in Lawton, Oklahoma.
  • Andrew Jackson (1839-?) Died in Grayson, Texas. Moved with brothers to Montague County, but was in Grayson, Texas by 1880.
  • Mary (1905-?)
• Mary died in 1847 (48 years old) in Madison County, Tennessee.
