• Lawrence was born in 1602 in Sulgrave, Northamptonshire, England.
• He married Amphyllis Twigden and they had seven children together: Anne, Lawrence, John, Elizabeth, Margaret, Martha, and William.
• Lawrence graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford. He was a Don at the University of Oxford. He then became the rector of Purleigh Essex Church. He was stripped of his position for his Royalist views during the English Civil War. He died in poverty.
• Lawrence died in 1653 (51 years old) in Essex, England.

• Amphyllis was born in 1602 in Northamptonshire, England.
• She was the daughter of John Twigden and Anne Dickens.
