12th Generation: Lawrence Washington

• Lawrence was born in September of 1659 in Bridges Creek, Westmoreland, Virginia.
• He married Mildred Warner in 1690 in Gloucester, Virginia. They had three children together: John, Augustine, and Mildred.
• Lawrence owned a substantial plantation in Virginia. He was educated in England. He served as a lawyer and politician in the colonies. One of his two plantations, Little Hunting Creek, was renamed Mount Vernon.
• Lawrence was the Grandfather of George Washington!
• Lawrence died on March 30, 1699 (40 years old) in Gloucester County, Virginia.

12th Generation: Mildred Warner

• Mildred was born in 1671 in Gloucester County, Virginia.
• Mildred was the daughter of Augustin Warner and Mildred Reade.
• She married Lawrence in 1690, and they had three children together:
  • Captain John (who we are descended from) (1692-1746) (54 years old)
  • Augustine (1694-1743) (49 years old) Father of George Washington
  • Mildred (1698-1747) (49 years old)
• Mildred died on March 26, 1701 (30 years old), in Gloucester County, Virginia.
