• Lady Margaret was born in 1468 in Beningborough, Yorkshire.
• She married Sir Thomas in 1487. They had four children together:

  • Elizabeth Bryan Carew: 1488-1546. Married Sir Nicholas Carew
  • Francis Bryan ( who we are descended from) 1490-1550 in Ireland.
  • Margaret Guildford: 1495-1521. Married Henry Guildford, Knight of the Garter.
• Lady Margaret served as governess to Henry VIII’s children. She was a lady in waiting to Queen Catherine of Aragon.
• She died in 1551 (83 years old) at Leyton, Essex, England.
