• Jeremiah was born on February 22, 1852, in Madison County, Tennessee.
• He moved with his parents to Freeborn, Missouri. After his father died, the family moved back to Madison County, Tennessee. His mother remarried in 1866. He then moved with his uncles George Washington Bryant and Andrew Jackson Williams to Montague County, Texas.
• He married Permelia Ann in Texas. They had eight children together: William Marion (who we are descended from), Joseph, Ira, Beauna, John, Bernice, Burl, and James.
• Jeremiah died on August 15, 1919, (67 years old) in Sherman, Texas.

5th Generation: Permelia Ann Burgett

• Permelia was born on February 25, 1859, in Montague County, Texas.
• She married Jeremiah Marion Bryant, and they had eight children together:
  • William Marion (who we are descended from) (1874-1902)
  • Joseph Hoskins (1876-1944 in Jackson, Tennessee)
  • Ira Lee (1878-1965 in Vernon, Texas)
  • Beauna Vista Dickerson (1880-1961 in Davidson, Oklahoma)

  • Bernice (Ebb) Elby (1884-1939 in Wheeler, Texas. Operated a cotton gin in Shamrock, Texas.)
  • Burl O. (1888-1959 in Wichita Falls, Texas)
  • James Thomas (1891-1977 in Forestburg, Texas)
• Permelia died on August 29, 1932 (73 years old) in Austin, Texas.
